At the inaugural meeting in December 2019 and from the emails received in the run-up to that meeting, it was clear that people want the site to remain natural and not to become a formal park. In the autumn of 2020 we ran an online public consultation to find out more about what people want from the site. Unfortunately because of Covid-19 restrictions we couldn't run an open day on the site as we had initially planned.

Building on these ideas the Trustees of the new Charity (as the elected committee became along with two of the Ward Councillors) developed an overall plan for the site.

For 2024 we will continue focusing on the Orchard, with just tidying-up and litter picking in the other areas. Our detailed plans for the Orchard are shown.
